
Philosophy
The basic philosophy of All-Staff Nursing is to maintain pay levels comparable to its competitors. As part-time, non-exempt employees, All-Staff Nursing employees are paid hourly wages with each pay check dependant on the number of hours worked each pay period as determined by sign-in sheets verified by supervisor signatures from each facility. The weekly pay period begins with Monday’s day shift and ends the following Sunday’s night shift. Options for pay include Pay Cards and Direct Deposit. Employees get paid weekly, but can also choose our next day pay option. Pay rates can vary by client for the same specialty and shift due to different rate negotiations with individual clients.
Overtime
All-Staff Nursing employees may work up to 8 hours of overtime weekly if working more than 40 hours at regular pay, including shifts at multiple clients the same week. All-Staff Nursing reserves the right to cancel this overtime policy. Overtime pay (equal to 1 and 1/2 times regular pay) for an assignment at any single client can only be approved by our office if the facility agrees to pay an overtime rate. The supervisor at the facility must speak to our office staff before overtime will be approved.
Meal Breaks
Meal breaks follow policy at each facility for their employees, which is usually a mandatory 30 minute deduction for every shift of at least 5 hours worked by an employee. Unless arrangements have been made in advance with a particular facility, an employee will not be paid for working through a meal break.
Holidays
All-Staff Nursing recognizes the following dates as holidays. Employees will be paid 1 and 1/2 times regular pay for the following holiday shifts. All-Staff Nursing does not limit the number of holiday shifts an employee can work. Holiday shifts can vary by client based on client mandated holiday shifts included in our service agreements. In these cases, some shifts may not be paid at holiday rates.

In addition to regular pay, All-Staff Nursing invests in our employees through numerous bonus programs. This gives our employees many opportunities to earn extra money and recognition.
Earn Overtime Pay Weekly
Earn up to 8 hours overtime pay if working in excess of 40 hours at regular pay at multiple clients the same week
Mileage Bonus
Receive a mileage bonus equal to $1 per hour worked for any shift worked when you drive more than 35 miles one-way to reach a client facility (subject to verification).
Retention Bonus
Retention Bonus (effective 1/1/08)
- Who is eligible?
- RNs can earn up to $900 in 3 installments of $300
- LPNs can earn up to $600 in 3 installments of $200
- How to qualify?
- RNs and LPNs who complete an average of 30 hours per week for the first time with All-Staff Nursing during a 90 day period qualify for payment of their 1st installment
- RNs and LPNs can then qualify for payment of their 2nd and/or 3rd installments over the two successive 90 day periods after qualifying for their 1st installment
- RNs and LPNs will be ineligible for retention bonus payments if they arrive late, call off, no call/no show for any scheduled shift or cause any other valid complaints from a client.
Contract Bonus
Receive a bonus upon successful completion of a contract with a client and upon renewing another contract with the same client. A contract is a signed agreement between All-Staff Nursing and a client for an 8 or 13 week period with paid guaranteed hours.

Employee Referral Bonus
Refer a new employee and receive a bonus:
- RN referral:
1st shift worked = $ 50 plus 10th shift = $250 (TOTAL = $300)
- LPN referral:
1st shift worked = $ 50 plus 10th shift = $150 (TOTAL = $200)
- CNA, CMT, Phlebotomist, and Medical Assistant referral:
1st shift worked = $ 25 plus 10th shift = $ 75 (TOTAL = $ 100)
Client Referral Bonus
Refer a facility as a new client and receive a bonus when we complete:
- 1st shift worked = $100 plus 10th shift = $100 (TOTAL = $200)
Vacation Bonus
Work 1800 hours in a 12 month period without going more than 4 weeks without working a shift = 40 hours paid vacation at the current dayshift rate for weekdays

All-Staff Nursing employees are eligible to enroll in the following health, vision and dental benefit programs after you have been employed at least 90 days and you have been working more than 25 hours per week. Eligibility for enrolling in the 401K retirement savings plan is 1 year and 1000 hours of service. Different benefit programs may have different open enrollment periods. 401K Retirement Savings Plan
If you meet the following the requirements you are eligible for the 401K retirement savings plan:
- At least 1 year of service
- At least 1,000 continuous hours of service
- At least 21 years old
